Overlapping fire curtains

How three fire curtain modules close the 24.2 m main lobby opening (SC1302) as one continuous fire and smoke barrier.

One opening, three modulesOne module covers up to 12 m, so the 24 200 mm opening is closed by three modules of 8 400 mm side by side.
Two staggered linesNeighbouring modules hang on two parallel lines, one slightly in front of the other.
500 mm overlapEach curtain runs past the end of its neighbour. The modules overlap by 500 mm, so the joint is closed instead of an open vertical gap.
Fail-safe dropOn fire alarm, all modules descend together by gravity and close the opening as one barrier.
